Aluminum alloy melt treatment technology mainly includes two aspects: purification treatment and grain refinement.
Purification treatment:
Flux refining: The use of flux (such as chemical substances or powders) added to aluminum alloy melt, through physical and chemical action to remove impurities and gases, improve the purity of the melt.
Rotary dusting method: The use of inert gas to spray the flux powder into the melt, effectively remove the inclusion.
Static treatment: By letting the melt sit for a period of time, the denser inclusions are allowed to settle naturally.
Vacuum treatment and ultrasonic treatment: removal of gases and inclusions using physical or physicochemical processes.
Grain refinement:
Add refiner: such as Al-Ti intermediate alloy, by controlling the solidification temperature and dynamic grain refinement method to refine the grain, improve the mechanical properties of the alloy.
Physical or chemical methods: such as mechanical vibration, audio vibration, ultrasonic vibration, etc., by changing the temperature and composition distribution of the melt to refine the grain.
These technologies not only improve the performance of aluminum alloys, but also optimize their processing properties, making aluminum alloys more widely used in various fields.
