This product is made of a variety of salt compounds by high temperature dehydration and refining. In the production process of sand castings or hard mold thick round castings, it is widely popular because of its good metamorphic effect and special use advantages.

• Shape: pale powder (2.5kg/ bag)

• Suitable alloys: hypoeutectic and eutectic Al-Si alloys with a silicon content of 6 ~ 13%

• Processing temperature: 700℃ ~ 740℃

• Recommended dosage: 1.0% ~ 2.0%

• Packing and storage: carton or woven bag, lined with plastic bag, 20kg or 25kg each. Store well and protect against moisture.

Usage method

Sprinkle a quantity of flux on the liquid surface, keep it for 10 to 12 minutes, break the hard shell and stir it into the deep part of the liquid, after 3 to 5 minutes, scrape the slag and pour the test rod, and then cast it when it is normal.

• Insufficient metamorphism: the fracture is dark gray, the grain is coarse, and the bright silicon spots are obviously visible

• Normal metamorphism: the fracture is silvery white velvet, the grain is uniform and fine, and the silicon bright spot is not visible

• Excessive metamorphism: the fracture is bluish gray, eutectic aggregation, caused by too much metamorphic agent
